Salted Caramel Banana Bread, Try This !

Rainy Sunday’s are perfect for quick and easy bakes like this . Salted Caramel Banana Bread.

Bananabread is such a quick and simple bake to make and when you’ve got brown bananas in the fruit bowl it’s a no brainer!

  1. I topped with some leftover salted caramel. To make Blitz 4 really ripe bananas with 85ml buttermilk & 1 tsp vanilla.
  2. Cream together 120g stork for baking with 230g caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 2 large eggs, gradually then fold in 285g plain flour, 1 tsp bicarb, 1/2 tsp salt and the banana and buttermilk until combined.
  4. Fold in 75g caramac buttons (optional).
  5. Tip into a 2lb loaf tin that’s been lined with baking parchment. Bake at 160C fan for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins, until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Cover with foil if it’s getting too dark in the oven.
